Kimberly Stevens MA ATC, LAT – Overlake’s AT is Kim Stevens. Kim holds B.S. degrees from Linfield College in both Athletic Training and Exercise Science, and an M.A. in Post-Professional Athletic Training from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She conducted undergraduate research on muscle activation during the plank exercise and completed her Master’s thesis on training load effects on shoulder mechanics in volleyball players. Additionally, she is interested in injury prevention, rehabilitation, as well as emergency response and planning. Kim is in charge of all medical clearance and care of our student-athletes. She is available during the school day, after school, and is on the sidelines for games at Overlake to provide the best possible healthcare to Overlake student-athletes.
Jeremy Whalen – CSCS, CPT. Overlake’s Strength and Conditioning Coach is Jeremy Whalen. Jeremy holds B.S. Degree from Western Washington University in Kinesiology, where he focused his studies in exercise physiology and biomechanics. He is a certified strength and conditioning specialist and personal trainer through the National Strength and Conditioning Association. Jeremy has over 20 years of experience in personal training and group exercise. He enjoys teaching students and student-athletes to attain their goals and adopt a healthy active lifestyle that they will take with them beyond high school.
